Pottery Course: Discover your creativity and relax with clay!

Looking for a fun and creative activity? During a ceramics course (also called a pottery course), you'll discover the art of working with clay. Located in Beemte Broekland (near Deventer, Apeldoorn, and Zwolle), I offer ceramic workshops and courses in my studio. Surrounded by the tranquility of nature, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and explore ceramics. Working with clay is a wonderful way to clear your head and fully immerse yourself in the creative process. Whether you're completely new to the world of ceramics or already have some experience, everyone is welcome!

Inclusive:

  • 4 extensive lessons of 2.5 hours.
  • Unlimited clay and the use of all tools.
  • Baking and glazing 6 creations - So you not only have a fun memory, but also a tangible result to take home!
  • Coffee/tea and snacks during the workshop.

What are we going to do?

  • 01

    At the potter's wheel, you will learn basic pottery techniques or advanced techniques at your own level.

  • 02

    In follow-up lessons, you can learn to turn and finish various shapes. During a course, I carefully consider your level and needs, and we'll determine the content of the lessons together.

  • 03

    By the end of the course, you'll have created several pieces. You can choose to glaze them yourself during an open studio session, or I can finish the pots for you with a glaze of your choice.
